NH Internet Enterprises Ltd

August 3, 2009

We have said a lot about the UK SEO Agency, however we have not really given you an insight as to how our company has grown. In August 2007, NH Internet Enterprises was formed to cover the affiliate marketing activities of successful search engine optimisation consultant Nathan Hall and his partner. The company grew successfully throughout 2007 with our marketing efforts focused upon many websites including a coupon code website as well as many more.

In 2008 we continued with our affiliate marketing websites however at a slower pace as we had priorities elsewhere, with Nathan and his Partner getting married, however towards the end of 2008 we decided the time was right for Nathan to come out of full time employment, and move into utilising his skill set for our own company on a full time basis, at this point the UK SEO Agency was born and our constantly evolving website was built, along with a number of other potential products.

During the year to date, we have worked extremely hard at improving our services, our existing websites and expanding our client base, being successful at all 3 of these tasks at hand. One of the things Nathan Hall has always believed in, is target one website at a specific niche – not working to many areas with to many websites, and therefore we will soon be formally launching another website based upon one of our successful products, and at the same time launching a new product to make your life easier!

As you can see we are at an exciting time within the companies history, and things can only get better!

Google Adwords Explained

July 17, 2009

There are many tools that are available to professional search engine optimisers and Google adwords is just one of them. The main problem that you will stumble upon when you are trying to get an SEO strategy together is the amount of technical jargon that you will come across. Deciphering what some of the computer acronyms and lingo’s actually stand for and mean will take forever and the easiest thing to do is to get a professional company involved.

Google adwords or Google Pay Per Click (PPC) works by drawing in web traffic to your site and every time someone clicks on your website, you get charged for it. The adwords programme is one that uses vocabulary that often needs to be explained as a brief look over the terms will not allow an SEO novice to fully grab the concepts.

Here at the UK SEO agency we run a very professional operation and we are well established in the complex and terminology filled world of SEO. Get in contact with us and we will be able to help you to start the process of climbing the rankings pages; a job that only a expert company can do. I am going to explain a few of the more common terms that the Google adwords uses and even if you are not going to put your SEO plan to work yourself, it is always best to have an idea on how all the techniques work so you can fully understand the concept.

Firstly, the Cost Per Thousand Impressions, CPM, means that you will get charged every time that your advert is displayed even if the user does not click on it. As a customer you will then place a bid on every 1000 impressions that your advert gets. The downside of this deal is that you are paying whether or not someone actually clicks on it or not.

The cost-per-click is also known as the CPC. This pricing structure works by charging every time someone clicks on your advert. If your advert appears after a query search and the visitor chooses not to click on it then you will not incur costs, which is a good bonus for using this particular scheme.

The Quality Score should be utilised for measuring how much quality your keywords hold and this will decide on your minimum bid. The click through rate (CTR) will help to ascertain your Quality Score as well the text, content, keyword performances and a handful of other factors. The better your Quality Score is the cheaper your bid will be as well as an inexpensive price for the per per click. The minimum bid is all about the quality of the keywords and it is the bottom price that you will have to  pay for your chosen keywords to show ads.

Lastly, the click through rate (CTR) is a way of seeing how well your ads are working and how many consumers are actually using them. To gain a higher CTR you must ensure that the ads are interesting and relevant and the process works by taking the number of ad clicks divided by the number of impressions and multiplying it by 100. These are just a selection of adword terminologies and there are many more to learn and understand.
