In the world of internet marketing, we spend a lot of time analysing all of the marketing techniques. And through this constant evaluation we have come up with a basic statistic, SEO converts at a higher rate than PPC. Now this is quite a wild statement to make, however we can back it up with figures (averaged out and the data has been anonimised), and we cant quite believe the results. It is this trust that makes the user spend longer on a website, and more importantly reading the sales copy and buying into what your website has to sell to them.
It is through this copy, Search Engine Rankings and the time and money spent on building the website, you find you generate sales. Pay Per Click is a very good short term money making exercise, but the one thing you must realise, is once your pound is spent, it needs to convert into a sale to generate another pound to spend again. If this does not convert into a sale then it is spent. It is spent and not going to make you any return.
